For those who loved GCB, The River and Missing, the ABC network has come out with shocking news. The network has decided to do away with the shows, owing to the fact that they have not been able to perform well on the ratings section.
GCB (Good Christian Bitches) was a drama that was expected to survive the desire of the management, but ABC has taken a very bold decision, and has rightly decided to do away with the non-performers. Similar was the case with Body of Proof and Private Practice, but the network decided to keep two, and do away with the biggest non-performer of the bunch.
ABC has also confirmed about two other shows, “Missing” and “The River,” while the fate of Pan Am remains uncertain, as the show has received the Golden Rose Award for the best series. With “The River” being cancelled, it seems that Netflix, which was initially interested in the series earlier, might take it up.
